Sherry Orson is a prominent Music Publisher and Licensor with a proven track record of securing placements across major television networks, renowned recording artists, advertising brands, and feature films.

Ms. Orson began her career in the music industry as a Creative Manager during the Richard Branson era at Virgin Music Publishing in Los Angeles. She then transitioned to Universal Music Group, where she served as Director of Creative Services for nearly a decade, significantly enhancing her expertise in music publishing and licensing. During her tenure at Universal, she successfully placed songs with major record labels for Platinum artists such as Christina Aguilera, Toni Braxton, Selena, Babyface, Jessica Simpson, Bette Midler, Chaka Khan, and many others.

In 2007, she joined musician and actor Steven Van Zandt to represent his music publishing company and rock record label, where she played a pivotal role in securing placements for his roster of rock artists with major advertising brands, including KFC, McDonald’s, and Fox Sports. Currently, Ms. Orson heads her own licensing and music catalog representation company, Star Vibe Group, where she represents emerging artists and music catalogs for licensing across all media platforms. Through Star Vibe Group, she has successfully placed and licensed songs from her roster to Netflix, Amazon, CBS, HBO, Showtime, MTV, NBC, Fox, E!, and many more.
